Individual Registered Agent - Local law firms or accountants based in Texas

About the Role

We are looking for an individual to act as my Registered Agent and assist with setting up and maintaining a LLC in Texas

Responsibilities

• Serve as the official Registered Agent for LLC — maintain a physical address in Texas to receive legal and government documents during normal business hours
• Receive, forward, and scan important mail promptly
• Prepare and file the Articles of Organization with the Texas Secretary of State
• Help obtain an EIN from the IRS if needed
• Assist with basic compliance reminders (e.g., annual report deadlines)
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive documents securely

Requirements

• Must be a resident physically located in Texas with a real street address (P.O. Boxes do not qualify)
• Experience as a Registered Agent or with LLC formation preferred
• Strong communication skills and quick response time.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and trustworthy.

Compensation

Competitive flat fee or annual fee for Registered Agent services, plus any agreed fees for additional filing or administrative help
